AMPS

Upload once. Serve anywhere. Transform by URL.

One API key, one folder, one URL grammar. An agent gets a trial key with a single call, uploads files, and ships CDN URLs that resize and convert on the fly. No account needed to start.

Get a key

Returns a user, a default app and an API key, shown once. Store it as AMPS_API_KEY.

curl -X POST https://api-test.amps.media/trial
2

Upload

The reply carries an upload_url; PUT the bytes there, then poll GET /uploads/{id} until the file lands.

curl -X POST https://api-test.amps.media/uploads \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $AMPS_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"path":"photos/cat.png",
       "mime_type":"image/png","size":204800}'

Serve and transform

Public files need no call. Private files take a ?token= from GET /access/token.

Quotas you can see

Every limit error says which meter ran out, how much you used and what lifts it. GET /usage returns the same numbers, so an agent stops at a 402 and tells the human exactly why.

Isolation by construction

Every file lives under /users/<U>/apps/<A>/. Keys and tokens are scoped to that folder, so one app can never list or read another.
